If all these Girl Scout pictures and posts are starting to blur together, folks, don't worry: same thing happens to me, too. It seems all Kris does anymore is head off into some random spot in the woods with a bunch of hobbit-sized children in colorful vests for a five-hour-long arts and crafts activity.
I guess I shouldn't complain, though, as I rarely have to go along. Hooray for me.
Anyway, as it happens in this blog from time to time, I'm going to attempt and add captions to these pictures despite the fact that I a.) wasn't present for the event(s) in question and no idea what's going on in any given photo, and b.) don't know the names of 90% of the people being photographed.
Here we go. . .
Deep in some random forest. . . somewhere. Here we have an adult doing something with Alayna and her Brownie troop. |
Here's an adult wearing patches, giving Alayna what looks to be some kind of stamp. . . |
Alayna's girl scout troop. Standing around, for some reason. |
That woman's name is Christy. And she's holding something. |
Here's a group shot of the troop. Holding stuff in the air. In the woods. |
On what clearly appears to be a different day, and in a completely different location (a playground, perhaps?) we have Abby's girl scout troop. Eating stuff. |
Reciting oaths of loyalty to their order. Or something. |
Looks like Abby's name has been called. . . as she's walking forward. . . |
. . . to receive this certificate. |
And a hug. |
And now a pose with an adult. |
This adult is holding something. |
Look - a child can also hold it. |
Kids love holding it. They each get one. |
Why, there's Abby, holding hers. |
Children hugging. |
And now swinging on a playground. Somewhere. |
Four girls, each holding up paper. |
Getting sillier. . . |
Honestly. Kris really needs to get with the program here and supply post captions on this stupid blog once and awhile so I don't get stuck with crap like this. . . |
